The main way of getting to Cuba is by plane, since there is a great amount of regular flights from the main cities in the world.
Most of travellers arriving to Cuba do so to José Martín International Airport in Havana, since the airport is the main in the country.
Note that there are no regular trains or buses between the airport and the city centre.
Taxis from the airport to downtown La Habana cost between 20 and 25 CUC, and take around 30 to 40 minutes. The second most important airport is the one in Antonio Maceo, in Santiago de Cuba.
Other way to reach Cuba is through the seaports. Most are well connected with the city centre, so reaching your hotel shouldn’t be a problem. It’s essential to remember that you will find Custom and border officials in any entry point, both airports and seaports.
