Morón has always been the main junction of the centre of Cuba, being its station the most elegant in the country outside Havana.
The Neocolonial building that houses the station was built in 1923. Its style was influenced by the architecture from the South of the US as well as by French carpentry. On the other hand, it hides a messy activity and Art déco look inside.
