The Iglesia de Jesús de Miramar church, one of the largest churches in Cuba, is located in the famed Quinta Avenida (5th avenue) in the neighborhood of Miramar, in the modern municipality of Playa,Havana.
his church was built in 1948 and, unlike most others, does not feature lavish decorations. A vast cupola crowns its Neo-Romanic structure.
The interior houses the organ with longest tubes in Cuba, and also modern and unique murals. It’s worth noting here the image of Santa Ana, whose festivity is on July 26th, the day of Santa Ana, better known was Day of the Grandmothers.
