Inside the cave you will be able to admire spectacular cave paintings and also archaeological remains from pre-Columbian Cuban civilizations.
The río San Vicente (San Vicente River) runs through the cave. You can travel through a section of the cave in a wonderful motorboat while you observe the magic of this place.
It is a very interesting attraction for visitors, due to the geological formations of stalactites and stalagmites that can be admired inside the cave, which form a beautiful spectacle. The Cueva del Indio is illuminated, allowing visitors to admire the interior of this underground natural wonder.
To reach the Cueva del Indio from nearby Viñales you have several options. You can go by taxi or by the tourist bus that goes to the valley making stops, although if you want to enjoy a different experience we recommend that you enjoy a bike ride to the cave. This way you can feel the Cuban nature closer than ever.
