In the Museo de Cera de Bayamo Wax Museum you can find from wax reproductions where the farming customs are represented, also the flora and the fauna of the region, even those which are the spitting image of relevant people in the Cuban history.
Opened in 2007, and with a very simple architectural structure, the museum has been growing up bit by bit until currently counting with four exhibition rooms: Natural Heritage Room, Victims of Terrorism, Personalities, Cultural Diversity.
Thus, the gallery has, regarding outstanding personalities, convincing figures of Polo Montañez, Carlos Puebla (hero of the place), José Martí, Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, Benny Moré, Ernest Hemingway or Gabriel García Márquez, to commemorate the friendship between the Nobel Prize and the leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro; among many other pieces.
