The Universal Art Gallery Benito Ortiz was opened in 1983. Built up between 1800 and 1809, this old house, also known as Ortiz Palace, belonged to the governing Don Rafael Ortiz.
The gallery has three rooms with transitory exhibitions about Trinitarian art. In one of the upper roof rooms there is a lingerie exhibition, a representative tradition of Trinidad, along with other handicraft expressions.
In addition to the exhibition rooms, there are services of guided visits, talks, meetings with artists and personal and collective exhibitions.
