Only 12km from the city of Matanzas, Cuba, close to the exit of the airport, is located a little cave known as Cueva Saturno (Saturno Cave).
The cave hosts a tiny lake, in which you can find fish and other species characteristic of the aquatic Cuban fauna which inhabits its underground waters.
What’s more, here you will also find waters better suited for practicing aquatic activities such as swimming or snorkelling.
It is full of stalactites and stalagmites, immersed mainly by water; evidence that the cave did not always contain water.
There is also an area set up for you to eat and have a coffee quite close to the cave’s entrance.
