Discover the La Gran Piedra Mountain Range, and admire the most surprising geologic formation in the area.
With around 63,000 tons, the rock is located on top of a mountain with cool atmosphere and lush vegetation, housing numerous interesting spots like the Botanic Garden, the Cafetal de La Isabelica Coffee Plantation and Prado de las Esculturas.
You’ll be able to enjoy the splendour of nature and be witness of the legacy of history while discovering the coffee plantations created by French farmers after running away from the bloody revolt of slaves from Haiti in 1791.
Located in the Baconao Park, there are more than 60 coffee plantations created at the end of the 18th century, among which you’ll be able to visit the Cafetal La Isabelica.
