Visit the Pico Turquino Peak, just 130 Kilometers to the west of Santiago de Cuba.

Reach the Pico Turquino, choosing any of the two different available options.
For an easier and more quickly route, you must leave from Las Cuevas. This trail is ideal if you want to reach the top of it.
If you prefer to enjoy a more historic route, you must take the trail starting in Alto del Naranjo. From there, the route passes by Comandancia de la Plata and crosses Sierra Maestra.
Those excursionists who want to, can do the shortest route, with 6 Km and 4 hours. It is also possible to do a mixed itinerary where both routes intertwine.
