The Cebtro Cultural Pablo de la Torriente Brau (Pablo de la Torriente Brau Cultural Center), or simply Brau, is hidden behind the Plaza Vieja Square in Old Havana, on the island of Cuba.
The Brau is a cultural institution of reference formed under the direction of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC in Spanish), whose goals are to stimulate the oral transmission of history (La tradicion oral/Oral tradition) and to encourage the rescue of collective memory of Cuba.
It currently hosts poetry reading events and live sessions of acoustic music. What’s more, it has a hall of digital art, known for being at the forefront of this particular art. Also noteworthy is the program ''A guitarra limpia'', where Cuban troubadours offer concerts in the courtyard of the center.
